Dear Molly:
Thank you so much for coming to King and spending the day with us. The children gained so much from your presentations! They were so excited to go back to their rooms and continue writing and illustrating.
It seemed that every time I went through the Media Center, one could have heard a pin drop. You are an excellent presenter for children of all ages. I appreciate the way you adapted to the age group you were working with in your workshop times. Additionally, the evening program was great. The parents and kids were so enthused with their artwork and your stories, slide show, and advice. I heard many comments from them (the many dads, especially!) about what an enjoyable time they had. Ive also heard comments from teachers about your time with their students. Here are a few! I love the way she engaged the kids. The children were so excited to continue working on their pictures and stories. I think Molly was one of the best presenters we have ever had.
Once again, Molly, thank you so much for coming. Your warm personality and heart made such a difference in our childrens lives.
Sincerely,
Pamela Goldfain

Dear Molly,
Thank you for your visit, it was wonderful! The kids have said several times that it was the best field trip they've ever taken!
We all learned a lot from you, about using everyday events to inspire you, using your imagination to develop your inspiration into stories, and even the steps an author takes when preparing a book to go to the publisher. We learned really neat techniques for illustrating, too! I've seen foreground, middle ground and background popping up all over!
What a bonus to have fun, actually make a product, and come away with valuable skills - all on the best "field trip" ever!
Thanks!

Dear Molly,
We all loved having you come to our school. You gave some real positive messages about writing and drawing to the kids. I enjoyed being involved in both large and small presentations. You are truly a gift and thank you for sharing that gift with us at Gilbert. God bless you.
Warmly,

Dear Molly,
On behalf of our entire staff and the students of Cedar Wood I convey thanks and appreciation for the inspiration you provided budding writers and illustrators at our school. It was obvious to all of us that you possess a passion for your craft and that you possess an unusual ability to touch children with your work. I have no doubt that you leave your footprint wherever you go. Certainly, you left some big ones at Cedar Wood.
You might be interested to know that our teachers were struck by the fact that in coaching future writers you began the creative process with illustrations which generated narrative - a process that is converse to what teachers normally teach children to do. A number of our staff thought this was a wonderfully simple idea which they will apply to their own lessons in the future. Sometimes we overlook some wonderfully simple but profound strategies.
Thank you, Molly. I hope that we have the pleasure of your presence here again.
Sincerely,
Jim McNally
