Ever since I was a little girl, I’ve loved books - words and pictures put together to make moments of life between two covers. So of course I’ve made some books of my own including One Small Giggle and E.T. My Bat. I’ve never stopped doing art and making things - it all helps make sense of the world. Classes and Workshops

My books and art are ways for me to share things that I love. When I visit schools, I love to share my own creative process and pass it on to everyone. So I have different programs to teach art, writing, and creative thinking to children, teens, and adults.

Whats New?

Great thinkers throughout time have taught that asking questions can lead a person to a greater life. So I made a game of it. Know Your Mind has gotten great reviews so far, both from families and teachers. It is simply a set of questions on some sturdy little cards - all to set your mind imagining, contemplating, and communicating with yourself and the people in your life.

Some of my inspirations - my son Jesse, our friends, and our animals - Rosie the goat who chews wood and leaves and even my hair - Tyrell the dog who steals all the chocolate and sandwiches he can find, and our orange cat Shakespeare. That's our friend Charie with her pet crow, Edgar Allen, who unties your shoelaces every time you aren't looking - and even steals mudpies!
