Dear Molly Piper,
Thank you for coming in and showing us so many amazing things, and telling us about your son who wrote his own newspaper and got the adults to pay attention to what the kids wanted. I really liked your presentation and hope you come to our school again. Your books and stories were all very interesting. I was most interested in how the different kinds of music affected the water. I think I will research this more. I really wish that you would come in and talk to us more about whatever is interesting.
Sincerely,
Neil Rutan
Molly Piper:
I would like to thank you for coming on Friday. I enjoyed your visit and would like you to come again some day. It was really interesting and it has also inspired me to draw a lot more. I also liked hearing about your little baby bat. I personally think your garden is beautiful! Over all, you were probably the most interesting guest speaker that I have ever had the pleasure of listening to.
In my free time I love to draw. It has been a hobby of mine since I was in the sixth grade. I really liked the drawings that you made. Especially the one of the woman with the world in her hands and the cloak made out of the universe.
I liked hearing about the little bat that you found. If only everyone was that caring.
You see, you have inspired me to do a lot of things. Like: draw, go to the art institute, start a garden, and follow my dreams! Thank you so much for your very interesting and fun presentation. I would really enjoy it if you came again. Keep up the wonderful work and I hope to see you again soon!
Sincerely yours,
Jennifer Henry
Dear Molly Piper,
I wanted to thank you for coming to author day at Totem. I enjoyed watching your slide show it was very interesting. I enjoyed seeing all those animals and your beautiful garden. I thought the book about your elementary school teaching experience was a really good childs book. It can really get to young kids imagination and that will help kids as they get older to experience life a little different. I also enjoyed hearing the story of your son helping get a skate park in your home town. It was a good thing to tell because it may help younger children to know that they can make a difference to helping or even making other peoples lives more fun. I really enjoyed your whole presentation and I hope to maybe see you again somewhere and good luck on writing and selling of your next book. Thank you again!
Sincerely,
Amanda Lewis
