Molly Piper

Molly Piper

Our Twins Are Here!

This is Abraham.

I don’t think Molly will mind me coming on her blog to tell you about our new babies. I’ll just make the announcement and Molly can tell the story with more and better pictures later…

Cadence Felicity
1:54 PM, August 2, 2010
5 lbs, 14 oz
18 7/8″

Whitsun Robert
2:00 PM, August 2, 2010
6 lbs, 8 oz
19″

The babies are healthy and keeping warm in the nursery right now. Molly’s doing great, just very tired.

And for fun I’ll give you a teaser for the birth story… It includes a doctor saying, “Don’t put a sheet on her in case we deliver in the hall.”

  22. Congratulations! I am thrilled for you.

    I noticed the middle name… Felicity. :)

My first baby went to Heaven immediately after his birth, his name was Matthew Christopher.

I had a daughter the next year.

Twelve years later, the Lord surprised us with a son whom we named Christopher.

A few years ago, my daughter had her second boy and asked if “I’d mind” if they named him Matthew. (Of course, I was thrilled…)

I often have wondered if Matthew Christopher knows how his memory was honored in the names of two boys. Someday all will be made WHOLE and all of our children will be together.

    How blessed you are. :)

  23. Janice Evans says:

Congratulations on the twins Molly Piper! Yesterday, the day you delivered, was my first day reading your blog. A friend of mine suggested I check it out as I am currently 31 weeks and 3 days with twin boys. :) I was SUPER excited to read your journey of twin pregnancy, the excitement of conception, the utter shock at two-for-one, the uncertain surprise of genders….and now their entrance. :) One thing I can say for sure, as soon as I knew we were having twins (at week 9)…I searched my heart in asking God how I could know this was a GOOD gift from Him…and not something to be a worry wart about…and He immediately reminded me of Isaiah 61:7…and in all my moments of uncertainty, fear of the worst happening….that scripture keeps me stable.

:) Congratulations to your family:) And thank you for allowing others to know the authenticity of being an everyday Christian Mom, wife, and daughter of God.
