How Many Sisters?: A Video of Morrow

If you jump over to Abraham’s latest post, you’ll see a very short video he edited last night of Morrow doing his latest trick.

Morrow is 20 months tomorrow, which means he’ll be turning two after the twins are born. Lord have mercy…

My two youngest are 14 months apart…The Lord does and will have mercy…buckle up, sister :)

  2. Book the Nanny now. Seriously. At least for the first 12 months after they are born.

  3. SusanV says:

Agree totally w/ Tracie! The Lord will have mercy. :-) Ian & Aaron are 18m apart, Aaron & little miss will be 21 months apart.

I know I don’t have twins, but I have actually quite enjoyed having the boys close together.

Super cute! I know a friend who had a preschooler, twin one-year-olds and a newborn…it CAN be done.

  5. Lucy says:

Too cute! Is it just me, or does “How Many Sisters” sound like a great name for a children’s book?? ;)

  6. Anna says:

    Loved that video! So cute!

  7. Karla A. says:

What a cute video! I always enjoy videos of your kids, and look forward to videos including the twins, too…..

    There’s always a story of “I know someone who…”
But, my friend just had twin girls. Her other two girls are 4 and 10 1/2 months. Yes, you read that right–she has 3 girls in less than a year!
    :)

    Prayers and blessings!

I just had boy and girl twins in Nov. I had a 3 year old already. I feel your pain but God does provide! I never thought I would survive to see this spring but I did and God has blessed us amazingly.

  11. Carol says:

Have I told you about my cousin Gloria, who had twin girls? When the babies were 9 months old she became pregnant again — with twin girls. Yep. Four daughters under 18 months old. They are in their mid-20s now and Gloria is a happy grandmother!

  12. David says:

I sometimes wonder what it was like for my parents when their kids were young. The firstborn boy was born in April of ’48, the next, a girl, was in October of ’49, and then the twin boys in January of ’51. Do the math — that’s four children under the age of three! My dad was going to college full time and working most all of that time.

That’s the same era from when my parents lived near where the Quarry is now (a shopping center in Minneapolis) in half of a Quonset hut (see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quonset_hut). I remember my dad’s story of having built a drying rack that could hold 100 diapers at a time and be lifted up to the ceiling over the gas space heater by a pulley system.

I wonder if they purposely waited three more years before they had their next child? Perhaps a little fatigue had set in.

Molly and Abraham, life will be wild, but oh the stories you will be able to tell if you can only live through it.

David My mother in law and her siblings lived in those same huts during the same time period. She was born inOct of 51, baby brother in Oct 52 and third brother I believe in Oct 54. I wonder if they knew each other> It was the Sigfrid family.

Margaret was 20 months old when my twins were born. I think she really believed the answer to EVERY question was 2! How many babies do you have? TWO How many big siblings do you have TWO! How old are you TWO! I thought it was funny because they were born in June of 2000. so they were our y TWO K surprise! I titled our Christmas letter that year TWO….. many Two’s :-)
