One of my husband’s most endearing traits is his love for all things Austen and Dickens. We have more fun watching old period-style films together … we are devouring the new Emma this week. Johnny Lee Miller is a perfect Mr. Knightly.

I love it! Private Predges is one of my all time favorite books / movies. Anything that can make my three year old sit still and watch (even with the actors using unfamiliar accents and words) is well done. :)

My daughter has raised her four children on British flicks. She once told me she overheard them saying they were “going to town” and realized they were talking about London and not Boston (which is the city closest to where they live). :)

I just bought her the latest Emma (which was on PBS recently) and she loves it.

Job well done raising him, indeed. I love that this is one of his favorites. Sounds like a cool kid. I somehow landed on your blog today (can’t even recall) but was immediately engaged…and then I realized you are another Minnesota girl, who is also named Molly. Hooked for sure.
