I would always do cool snowflakes, but as I've gotten older and more able to maneuver scissors in small cuts, I've done much more intricate and beautiful ones. I started a page on facebook for people to post their snowflakes called Paper Snowflakes. (yeah, clever. I know. :) Go there to see some of mine! My sons and I cut out a stack of them and then took clear thread and clear tape and hung them at different lengths from the ceiling in the livingroom and foyer...
