Post-nap Singing Time
Orison has always been a squawker after nap, even from his earliest days. When he was a baby, it was happy coos, then progressed into babbling, which eventually developed into musical-sounding tunes as he discovered the glorious gift of pitch. It’s almost as though when he discovered his voice a little light went on and he said, “Wow, I can do anything with this!”
Now that he’s older, whoever gets him up from nap is often treated to some funny musical renderings outside his door. This is what we listened to yesterday:

O.M.Goodness. That was freakin’ adorable!!! Thanks for sharing!!! :-)
That just made my day. :-)
That is great! My daughter has been a singer since she was born. I can’t wait until she sings real songs!
OK. That is just ridiculously cute. I like the song variety!
Between videos like that and pictures of Abraham in mid-flight, you’ve made me laugh a few times. Thanks!
How sweet! I’ve got a 7 month old who sings when he wakes up too… this is very exciting to anticipate!
WOW! I have no words – a little Queen.. a little baseball…I don’t know how you keep from busting a gut laughing. Thanks for sharing this one!
You’ve inspired me to make my first blog comment ever. How very PRECIOUS! What little tastes of heavenly joy Christ gives us on this earth. I’ve got a singer who is now 12. They just keep on singing!
That is hilarious! He is an adorable little guy!
laughing.
really.
hard.
i love listening to you guys try to keep it together the most :)
Lucy really liked that- and was very happy when she could see Orison at the end next to his bear.
What a great way to see — and hear — our mightly little minstrel !!
Too Cute! :) Loved it.
wow I laughed so hard. i love orison!
did he sing, “you must remember…i love everybody in the world…”???
oh, that’s hilarious. love this little guy. wonder how old he’ll be when he copyrights his first song. maybe five. who knows.
I can never get enough of that little guy! He sure is special!
Sounds like that baseball game made a lasting impression on him! So cute!
that was awesome
He’s got a great voice! How funny! I love how you can see the camera shake a bit as you are laughing! :-)
What a repertoire!
I love how you couldn’t keep your chuckles in anymore at the end Molly. This post put a smile on my face this morning!

Oh that was fun!! What an adorable habit – much better than other attitudes he could wake up with. :)
I guess he likes baseball. That part really cracked me up. My kids wouldn’t have a clue about the words to that song. :)
wait, now why does he love “we will rock you” how does he even know that song. this is really hysterical.
i love the last part when you start laughing.
that is awesome!!!!
HILARIOUS! I think that has to be the funniest thing I have seen in a LONG time – I especially love the we will rock you (clap clap) !
I love it!! How did you control your laughter for as long as you did? Very very funny and so cute! He reminds met of Jeneva. She sings ALL OF THE TIME (even on tune). Funny thing is that the rest of us are so very un-musical. Love it.
That is so precious. My four-year-old daughter loves to make up similar songs. So beautiful and sweet.
That was AWESOME! My oldest son Aidan loves to make up songs. I can’t seem to get them on video though. He always sees me with the camera and stops.
That’s absolutely ADORABLE! Bri loves to play with her voice too. I can’t wait until she can make up her own songs.
