I Miss Orison!
This is Orison:
This is what Orison loves to do at Granddaddy and Grandmama’s house lately:
He definitely had help from Granddaddy setting it up. It’s usually not as elaborate or organized as this, but there is usually a preacher, a singer, and people in the pews. You can barely see the parking lot (which is under the piano bench).

John Piper: Reformation’s Cowboy
Who wouldn’t miss him- he’s such a cute sweet kid!
Actually, Winnie the Pooh was the guest preacher this morning.
That’s too cute! It is fun to see the things that they like to “play.” Looks like he’s got it set up pretty accurately.
That is FABULOUS! I don’t know why, but I’m super psyched that Rabbit is front and center. Maybe because he adds to the diversity of the congregation :)
How cute, and funny! I like how Paster John is wearing a cowboy hat! Ha.
I just found your blog somehow through the mix of blogs out there. You and your extended family have been of so much encouragement to me in my faith in Christ over the past couple years and I feel so blessed to go to such a wonderful church in a wonderful state. :) It’s nice to “meet” you via the blog world!
How fun that old school Little People made an appearance! Today’s version just can’t quite compete with 80s spherical heads and armless bodies :-)
Ooops- that was Melissa… the mom in the picture :-)
Melissa,
I agree that the old-school Fisher Price people are so much better than the new ones. The only reason I get nervous with them is that someone I know knew a child who choked on one and died. Needless to say, I watched him very carefully with them, especially when he was younger. But I still think they’re amazing toys and light years better than 99% of the stuff they sell now.
You can often find them on ebay if you search “vintage Fisher Price.”
I think Orison and Grandaddy have hit on a brilliant idea: a multi-level parking garage for BBC. It sure would be helpful (and the church could make bank charging for parking for Metrodome events). Your son is quite the forward thinking entrepreneurial type.
That is simply adorable!
Fun stuff!!
he is so adorable!
So cute!
