I just read through all your "help for a grieving friend" entries after I searched for "Felicity" so I could find out your whole story. A friend sent me here after my 3rd early miscarriage. It's been good to read your well-expressed story. On the one hand, I've hardly experienced any grief compared to that of losing a full term baby and I am glad to get some insight into how to help friends in that awful situation. And yet, I think it also helped me to remember how real my own experiences were, how real the physical disturbances are, and just that it is okay to remember and grieve even if there hasn't been much time to get attached to a baby. Anyway, I've loved my hours spent here, and thank you for being so honest and always pointing back to Christ, even in the valleys.

Well, I'm not a stalker. I'm an advertiser ... sort of.

(Besides, stalkers don't usually use an email address that actually has their real name in it.)

You might have noticed the little quote from Augustine's Confessions on the right side of your blog, "Take and Read." At the end of 2009 I started a site called BibleTogether.com. I've been reading through the Bible with a group of about 20 people and writing reflections and a podcast each day. My hope is to help people who have struggled to read the Bible due to isolation and confusion to join with others to read together and to offer reflections that help to tie things together.

So that brings me to my ad on your site. I visited beaconads.com and (as you mentioned above) checked out Abraham's site, which I have followed and appreciated. I then decided to check out your ad spot and the price was right :) I have appreciated the transparency of your blog and hope to promote a similar transparency at BibleTogether.com.

It is not my ultimate purpose to grow a big blog or to see how many hits I can get. But I do think that there are still people out there that would benefit from a site like BibleTogether but just don't know it exists.

So, thank you for allowing me 250x25 pixels.

-----

By the way, the names of your twins are beautiful and full of meaning. I'm a father of four myself and God has so blessed us with names for each of our children to live into; Elijah (our prophet), Titus (our little giant of faith), Solomon Lewis (our peaceful warrior), Eliana (the Lord has answered our prayer for a daughter).

P.S. I am interested in the Pope because I have a friend who was in the air force with him as a youth and has nothing whatsoever good to say about him.

I'm totally not a stalker, I laugh when I read this but I am so comforted by these posts. I have been reading them over the past two days and they have open my eyes and heart to what a mess my emotions are. I have been through 2 misscarriages in one year and I feel way out of it. I feel like no one understands. NO ONE, not even my husband. And of course he does. And when I read your post about when Christians say God is good in the midst of such pain and heartbreak and you are thinking, If this is good.... I am so glad I stumble onto your posts on this subject. And I wanted to thank you from the bottom of my seemly empty heartbroken lonely heart these days. God is faithful and thats all I hold onto for dear life these days. Thank you Zoe Phillips
